Better than expected
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay! The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely art decor. The location is fantastic, close to Chinatown and the Embarcadero. There’s free coffee and tea in the lobby, and a fun Irish bar nearby. Just a heads up, the breakfast is quite basic. I'd definitely stay here again!

The quirky decor adds a unique charm to the hotel.
Zero ventilation made the room feel stuffy when the windows couldn't be opened.

It was a decent choice for a short stay in San Francisco with good value. The elevator felt like a vintage ride, adding a quirky charm. Avoid peak hours if you're not keen on waiting for the elevator.

Staying here with my family and nephew was a blast! We loved the spacious quadruple room with two double beds, perfect for our group. The quirky decor and vibrant art throughout the hotel made our stay unique. Plus, being a short walk from Chinatown was a huge bonus!
In my wife’s opinion, the lack of air conditioning was tough during our stay.

I adored the unique art displayed throughout the hotel, especially the local pieces in the lobby, which added a charming, creative flair. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to restaurants and shops for seniors like me.

I stayed in a Queen Room with shared bathroom. The room was small and pretty outdated, but the bed was comfy enough for a decent night's sleep. The decor was definitely quirky, but some of it just felt like random spray paint. Location was solid, but a bit noisy at times.

I stayed here for 11 nights and loved the free mini bar and microwave by the reception. The cozy lounge areas were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just keep in mind that the noise from nearby bars can be a bit disruptive if you want to keep the windows open. 😊

Fantastic location near Chinatown and the financial district! The unique hand-drawn art and spacious room made my stay delightful—good beds make a happy traveler! Can't beat the character of the place.
But honestly, the shared bathroom was a bit of a trek! Avoid the elevators unless you fancy a workout.
